A Canisian becomes a candidate of International Olympiad Informatics (IOI) 2008: Every year, at least one student of Canisius College Senior High School represents Indonesia in the International Olympiad Informatics. This year, after passing several selection process, and at last joining a training camp and a final selection on 5-17 May at the University of Indonesia, four students were appointed to be the representatives of Indonesia in IOI 2008 (16-23 August 2008 in Cairo, Egypt) These students are REINARDUS SURYA PRADHITYA (XI grader of Canisius College Senior High School, Jakarta), Irvan Jahja (St Aloysius Senior High School, Bandung), Risan (SMAN 1, Tangerang), dan Listiarso Wastuargo (SMAN 3, Yogyakarta).
