1977-1987 Period

Year 1982, Canisius Senior High Schools became a national test sample, where CC was asked to represent 20 cleverest students to determine the top margin of academic ability. In the same year, EBTANAS started. The subjects evaluated in EBTANAS are State Ideology Educaion and Indonesian Language. Father Drost SJ also participated in arrenge curriculum of 1984, there was also PMDK system.

CC had 3 kinds of libraries on this period, for teachers-to broden knowledge, linguistic library (organized by Mr Toto Sudarto), and CC Junior High-Senior High library. In 1980-1981, some Qolloquium were held initiated by Father Udya Susanto SJ and Sister Fransesco Mariyanto OSU. Teachers of Catholic Schools
Had Qolloquium in Sukabumi.

Art in CC also showed a big improvement. Initiated by Father Azis Mardopo SJ (1981-1983 sub-moderator) and Rather Sandyawan Sumardi SJ, (1983-1985 sub-moderator, now he is a social activist), Craddha was established, the drama theatre of CC. its member were not only from CC but also from Tarakanita, St.Ursula and Sancta Maria. There was poetry night which poets from TIM always came. CC sometimes won scholarly paper competition. Another routine program was JCC.

The other activity that needed attention was Canipress, which was lake of fund. But, the editorial staff refused if the magazine had to be delivered to each student and raised the school fee. Related to Press Day in 1987, Canipress was invited to attend National Wall Newspaper Competition by Nona Magazine. Canipress was the national winner. Because of that, magazine and wall newspaper were developed in Junior High and Senior High School.

In May 1984, superior position of Father Sewaka SJ was substituted by Father Subroto Widjojo SJ and the position of Junior High principal was occupied by Father Widiatmaka SJ. In 1985, the position of Junior High principal was handed over to Father Nico Dumais SJ. Tasks of moderator were submitted to Father Wuryanto SJ with the assistance of Father Heru Hendarto SJ and Father Eduard Ratu SJ. The chief of Canisius College Household, Brother Hardjaatmadja SJ migrated to Sukorejo, and his position was placed by Brother FX Wirjasudarma SJ. In the beginning of 1987, Father Suyundata was the director of Canisius Senior High School (Now Seminaro Wacana Bakti, Pejaten). The position of vice principal which had been occupied by Mr.Sutaryo Komara was placed by Mr.A.Sudarsana. Since 1987, under new leader, Father Drs.Suyudanta SJ, Canisius High school used homeroom-teacher system.
