On Going Becoming Person of Honesty

Canibreak

Canisius Breakdance, are usually referred as Canibreak. Canibreak was started 5 years ago at June 2003. But at that period Canibreak was not an official extra curricular activity. It was only a community of Canisians that wanted to learn about breakdance. It was all started by Aan (third grader at the time, now is studying in Singapore). But he was not alone in founding Canibreak. Those who also participated in the founding was Randolph and two other third grader. The four attempted to make a community where all Canisian can learn about Breakdance.
Henceforth, Aan and his friends looked for students from first grade up to the third grade that wanted to learn Breakdance. But of course, only those who have the capability and will to learn Breakdance were accepted within the community. Finally, they found six Canisias from the first grade. They were Aldwin, Gery, Gerald, Christian, Adam, and Sicky (but Sicky stopped and replaced by Roy).
Of course, Aan has started to learn Breakdance beforehand. Their target was graduation day four years ago and it proceeded smoothly as they planned. They learned it by watching the recordings of breakers and tried the moves. They tried their first move at the first storey Audio Visual room. That was their first Breakdance community.
Two years later (2005), Canibrak was established a new extra curricular of Canisius College. Canibreak was estblished by Father Sigit at July 2005. After the establishment, their next target was Canisius College Cup 19th to 25th November 2005. There was Breakdance Compatition at Canisius College Cup.
There are two essential things in Breakdance. They are foundations and powermoves. Foundations consist of toprock, footwork, dan freeze. There are also many types of powermoves, for example windmill, swipes, headspin, flare, halos, air flare, and so on. But the real key to win is clean moves. Every movement must be harmonious with the music, because as the name implies, it is a dance. So, keep the cleanliness in dance.
