The uniqueness of Canisius is its characteristic as a college, where students are not only being educated academically, but also have the spiritual quotient and have some excellent habits, known as 3C. This habit includes Competence, Compassion and Conscience. 3C as the basic guidance brings another essential principles together, which is "man for and with others" spirit. Canisius also brings Ignatian spirit in educating its students, which are Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam, magis (excellent), reflection and discretion. These spirits are applied in many Canisius students' activities, in order to aspire to be the centre of excellence for the education of faithful future leaders.
