CRC
CRC was formed in 2000. Before that, there was a similar activity name PMR CC. PMR CC started its activity in 1997/1998. At that time, the program was only temporary, therefore, in 1999, Yudhistira, Albert, and friends tried to make this extracurricular become active again.
They were trying to change and strengthen the concepts by changing the name, symbol, attribute and their system. Then, they improved the organization system and their individual skill as well as group skill. Those things still happen up to now. Overall, our extracurricular goals are:
Train the member as a professional
Support the school activities in first aid sector
Work together with PMI and other extracurriculars which move in social sector.
CRC itself has 10 up to 14 members in each grade. It is intended to make a strong bond among members. The first aid team itself consists of 6 students. So, with only 12 members, we can have a sparring team for CRC, to teach the members about:
- First aid technique
- Raise the humanity in each personal
- Self health and family
- Medicines
- Herbs
- Leadership
Forming of cadres in CRC consists of:
a. Pre cadres : 1 month (training finished)
b. Main cadres : 2 months (training finished + PMI) 2 X 12 hours (leadership) night
c. Post-Leadership : 1,5 months (additional)
d. LTT (Practical Training) camping, practical exer cise, final stage of forming cadres, members train ing, and the election for the new leader.
